Astro tourism comes in the category of science

In fact, astro tourism comes under the category of scientific tourism. For this, if there is basic knowledge about space, then its pleasure becomes double. Only then its nuances can be understood. If you do not have basic knowledge, then it is very important to have an expert having space related information with you. Only then we will be able to see the beauty of these planets like the beautiful Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars of our solar system with the naked eye and understand the jaggery secrets of the universe separately.

There are many attractions of this tourism.

Astro tourism has many attractions. Chief among them is the meteor shower, which is a meteor shower similar to fireworks. This happens about a dozen times a year and can be seen once or twice every month. It can be best enjoyed in dark places away from light. In which during an hour one can be faced with the glare of dozens to hundreds of burning meteors. Apart from this, there are attractions like accumulation, transit, opposition, coming in a straight line of planets, coming close to each other, passing close to the earth etc. Solar and lunar eclipses are also a part of this tourism. Not only this, the passage of comets near the earth is a wonderful experience. Whose long tail gives it the name of the tail star. Seeing whom gives a unique feeling.

You can see them up close with the help of binoculars.

Scientists, including those interested in the sky, eagerly wait for these wonderful events in space. If you have binoculars for astro tourism, then planets and constellations can be seen and understood very well. If there is a big telescope then it will be icing on the cake. With the help of which you can also see the events of the distant sky.

Asia’s biggest telescope here

The importance of Dev Bhoomi in the field of space can be gauged from the fact that Asia’s largest telescope has been established at Dev Sthal in Nainital district. The partner of this telescope is Belgium. It is a 3.6 meter diameter optical telescope. Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES) operates it. Apart from this, a four-meter liquid mirror telescope has also been installed recently near ARIES. This modern telescope is the world’s first active telescope, which has started capturing the events of the sky including galaxies and stars in distant space in a liquid camera. This telescope is a joint mission of five countries. Two telescopes of one meter diameter have been installed in ARIES. Many big researches of international level have been done with these telescopes, which are big achievements of the country. Many scientists from India and abroad are discovering the secrets of space through them.
