Indian Moon Mission: Chandrayaan 3 sent images of Moon’s surface

The Indian Moon mission Chandrayaan 3 has started sending images of the South Pole of the Moon. In the picture the surface looks solid and small big pits are visible in front. The color of the Moon’s surface appears dark grey. Rover Pragyan has started walking on the surface of the Moon. The good news is that the robot is doing well. At the moment everything is going well and Indians are very happy about the success of the mission and the success celebration of Chandrayaan 3 is still going on.

Astronomers of the world have high hopes from this mission. The biggest hope is about the snow. If any picture of white silver shining ice is seen on the surface of the moon, then definitely there will be a big discovery on the moon. But don’t know if there is snow there or not. Everyone wants to know this. However, Chandrayaan 3 will continue its search for 14 days on the lunar surface for the next 14 days. The rover will reconnoitre the lunar soil and identify the surface.

In this exploration mission, the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, which will be able to test the surface of the Moon’s south pole. The scientists of the world were eyeing the soft landing of the Chandrayaan mission and now their eyes are on knowing the south pole of the moon. For the time being, we have to wait a bit to get new information.

Chandrayaan 3 made a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon on Wednesday evening. Not only India but astronomers from many countries of the world were watching this landing live. Four years before this, the Indian mission Chandrayaan 2 failed during soft landing in 2019.

Here on August 19, Russia’s Moon Mission Luna 25 crashed. on this event Astronomers all over the world were disappointed.

ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 was launched on 14 July. Chandrayaan-3 was launched on 14 July from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. Landed on the south pole of the Moon on 23 August.
