Colorful aurora will be seen, tremendous explosion of X1.6 class on the Sun

There has been a tremendous explosion on the surface of the Sun on Sunday morning. The intensity of the explosion has been recorded at X1.6 category. In which a huge flame has emerged. A shortwave radio blackout has occurred over the Pacific Ocean. The solar storm that arose after the explosion is moving towards the Earth. But the explosion is not likely to cause damage.
Dr. Wahab Uddin, former director of Aryabhatta Observational Science Research Institute, ARIES, told that this explosion has occurred in Sunspot AR 3386 on the surface of the Sun. This sun spot was on the western edge of the Sun. According to Indian time, the eruption occurred at 3.15 am on August 6 and continued till 4.10 am. The explosion lasted for about 55 minutes
A massive X1.6-magnitude solar flare erupted. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured this explosion on camera.
The flame ionized the top of Earth’s atmosphere. As a result, there was a shortwave radio blackout over the Pacific Ocean. A CME i.e. high energetic particle has been scattered by the explosion. Thankfully it is not coming directly towards Earth. But it will add to the energy of any other CME that is already there. Due to which its effect can be seen on the poles of the earth after the next two days on August 8 and 9. In which the light of colorful aurora will be seen. However, the possibility of earth’s electronic, electric air services and artificial satellites being affected is very less.

According to Dr. Wahabuddin, the surface of the Sun is surrounded by groups of sun spots. In which the possibilities of explosion remain. Explosions in the sun are considered very dangerous for the earth, which can harm electronic, electric, air services and artificial satellites. Because of which solar scientists from all over the world keep an eye on them.
